It appears that it was all a misunderstanding.
What was only a trial run was taken seriously.

Hi Wendy, I hope you are overcoming the physical problems. I know it is very difficult. I think your writing is exceptional expressing a lot of deep, beautiful, brilliant thinking about life. Your PCT hike was amazing with wonderful photos and writing. I follow videos of the PCT hikes and found an exceptional one of professional quality. It is by Stephan Wassermann and can be found on YouTube. To find it, enter Eyemotionpictures Youtube into Google. The video is called: Hiking the John Muir Trail Northbound. He is producing more films also. I find the situation in our country appalling at this point. Work and learning a living is a generally miserable affair, with the political situation the same. I find very little to relate to in the culture. Nature, going back to the land and wilderness
experience are part of what I live for and life becomes real in that realm. I hope you continue to find your way and survive and have great confidence that you will and continue to experience life and leave
this very sick society. Thru hiking the PCT is one of the most rewarding ways of accomplishing this end and you have done it which is an amazing feat.
Stay well and continue to forge ahead to become well again. Anyone who finishes the PCT has to be basically very strong with enormous physical and spiritual resources and I believe you have lose qualities. Thank you for all of the writing also. It enters deep thoughtful realms.

I have been reading and viewing the photos of the PCT trip again.The writing and the photos portray the wonder and reality of the trail and your experience hiking it, thereby preserving the journey for others.
A very valuable addition to the information about the trail. The photographs are very spontaneous and natural capturing the moment capturing the beauty.
